I saw this in Knitty when the spring issue came out & wanted to make it for the wee one. So 2 skeins of Plymouth Fantasy Naturale in hot pink & 1 in lime green later here we are.
Think the wee one likes it?? It needs to be blocked & was done in the round rather than 4 separate pieces. I HATE seaming things when it can easily be done in 1 piece so a little 3rd grade math later (doubled the stitches ) we were up & running.
I'm back to working on my bag for the Spring Felted Bag Exchange & hope to be felting this weekend. I also need to send out my goodies to Mary for the stitch marker swap tomorrow!!

How cute! I would have done it in the round also, it's so much faster. She seems to love it, and I have to admire her footwear. Great job!
yea, I'd say she like her new top! lol She is jsut the cutest with some of those facial expressions!
Oh and your alone in mailing out stitch markers..lol I have to get mine out to to my partner.
I wondered how it would work in the round. As a new knitter I decided to play it safe and do the two pieces. As far as seaming goes it wasn't bad.
So cute!! I want to make it for my granddaughter - thanks for the suggestion to do it in the round.
What a cutie pa-tootie!
