Last day of school

Here is the Wee One last August on the first day of school. I was bummed that I hadn't requested a specific teacher as the majority of her friends from the previous year were in a different class.

As the year went on I came to realize how things really do happen for a reason. We soon grew to love her teacher & the Wee One made new friends.

Here she is today at the end of the year party.

It was sad saying good bye to our beloved Mrs. Fay & our friends. Several of the moms have agreed we need to schedule play dates over the summer and I know some of the children will be in the Wee One's class next year (woo hoo!).

We'll see a lot of them tomorrow at a birthday party but man, Tues. Weds & Thurs won't be the same!

The flight landed on time (11pm) after 4 arrival time changes & they were released to us around 130 this morning.
The Wee One is so happy to have Daddy home!
Off to drink more caffeine!

50% less worry

Hunter is out of Iraq, hence 50% less worry. I don't stop worrying until he's back in my arms. Which could be in a few days.

Gentle Reader, the official Freak Out has begun!!! I still have a bit of cleaning to do (laundry, vacuum, steam clean the carpet in the dining room) as well as mani/pedi, hair color, groceries but the rest of the house is clean & our outfits have been picked out .

Freaking Out!

Back in March 2007 this day seemed as if it never would come. It was just so far in the future. But it's almost here now. So as a result there isn't much knitting going on, there isn't much of anything going on other than me constantly looking at the calendar & counting days.

Thank you for the prayers, love & support that you have shown me & my family these past 14 months. They mean a lot & are appreciated more than you will ever ever know!
