Thanks Kish for the pattern!!

One of the gals on my Tote Exchange created this pattern which helped me 1) use up the 2 skeins of Ticker Tape that were going unused in my stash & 2) create a great little bag for Hunter's cousin Megan (19 & going into her sophomore yr of college). This bag is right up her alley!

It's a cute little bag & I think would work well as a bigger messenger style bag as well!

So thanks Kish & here's my bag!

How cute!!! I am so excited to see the bag. Did you have any problems following the directions, or would you suggest any adjustments? I like the way you did the clasps. I hope that the recipient likes it too :)! I was also looking through your blog and I really like the beaded markers. What a great idea! What materials did you need to make them?

The pattern was very easy to follow!! I think it would be a great bag (done w/ wool & felted maybe?) in a larger size too!

The stitch markers were BEYOND simple! I used 2 1/2 " head pins (found at Walmart, Hobby Lobby, AC Moore, Michaels--you get the idea), jump rings & whatever beads you choose. The only advice I have is make sure you get the round tip pliers so your loop above the bead is round, not rectangular.

This is the link that I used to help me figure out what I was doing:

I was thinking about making one and felting it as well. I have never felted, but will be for the first time on my secret pal's bag. I'll post some pictures on my blog when I get some of the stitch markers made :).
